Academic Calendar
Commit, Engage, Renew, Transform.
The Future Ready CMO Academy combines virtual coursework, a live immersive retreat, and personal coaching to help participants awaken, empower, and deeply embed a new vision, skills, and relationships.
Virtual Sessions
Six virtual sessions will take place the 1st Friday of each month from 8 AM-9:30 AM PST. Each session is designed to create connection, progressively build skills, and deepen your vision and insight.

Session 1: Meet, connect, and set intentions as individuals and as a group
Session 2: The 4 Transformations and personalized guided pre-work to prepare for the retreat
Session 3: Preparation for our in-person retreat while focusing on your personal journey and organizational needs

Sessions 4-6: Bring your personal vision to life in the real world with support from the group. Together, we will deepen capacities developed during the retreat and offer a structure for live processing and support.
Personal Coaching & Partnering
Each participant will have a personal coach during the course to help unlock your vision, identify blockers, and provide support for growth. Your coach will help with integration and processing experiences following the retreat. In addition, CMOs will be partnered with a peer and encouraged to connect throughout the course to share experiences. Partnership exercises will be provided to facilitate ongoing collaboration.
Future Ready CMO Accelerator Retreat:
Modern Elder Academy, Baja, California
Each day begins with optional meditation at 7 am. Morning embodiment practice at 8:30 followed by breakfast at 9:30. Workshops begin at 10:30 am and conclude at 5 pm most days with a 30-minute break for lunch. We encourage participants to book travel to arrive by late afternoon on Sunday, February 26.

Enjoy a group dinner and then set the stage for what’s to come including an introspective exercise designed to release old ways of being.

Follow a meeting with your coach and peer partner with a Soulbattical session. We’ll introduce our tools for the week and articulate our personal calling. The day will culminate with a VR tour into the urgency and purposefulness of our times.

Explore who you can be as a marketer and what it will take to take ownership of the narrative, culture, and promise of our organizations. A trip around the Sea of Cortez and a voice and sound Attunement will awaken your senses and expand your vision.

Take a deep dive into the four dynamics driving change followed by an exploration of your cognitive biases and attitudes about the future, the impact of business and our role as marketers.

Discover what it means to build a team ready to take on the challenges of our world. Explore what it takes to lead positive change from different perspectives and build practical tools you’ll need. Spend the afternoon with local artisans and businesses, and relax over an experiential dinner.

Understand the motivations of employees, customers and executives to better foster relationships and build an enduring culture. This will include a diversity of voices and we’ll take a clear look at the messages we support before our afternoon adventures.
